New Offer URL Creation
This guide explains how to resolve common errors you might see when preparing to set up the New Offer URL Creation. The S2O flow in HubSpot depends on clean, complete data, so these checks ensure our workflows run smoothly and automatically push the correct data to the URL.
1. Error: “Product Details are Missing” or wrong/no discount present.
This typically means the system didn’t pick up the product/amount value on first save.
How to fix it:
1. Set 'Amount' to zero

2. Click 'Save'

3. Wait 1 minute.
4. Enter the correct amount.
5. Save again.
✅ This restart forces the workflow to capture product details properly.
2. Error: “Billing Company Name is missing”
This error means the Company’s billing name wasn’t correctly synced to the Deal.
How to fix it:
- Go to the Company record associated with the deal.
- Update the Billing Company Name field with the correct value.
- HubSpot will automatically sync this value back to the Deal.
✅ No need to manually edit the Deal field itself after updating the Company.
3. Error: Line Items present but no amount / “Missing Currency” error in Line Items
Occurs when Line Items lack a valid currency setting.
How to fix it:
- Change the Currency on the Deal to your local currency.
- If the error persists:
- Remove the existing Line Items.
- Add them back again.
- Ensure the correct currency is set before final save.
✅ This ensures pricing is correctly calculated with the right currency context.
4. Error: Other Data Errors (e.g., “Famly Responsible Name” or “Famly Responsible Email” missing)
These errors mean the Deal is missing required Offer details.
How to fix it:
- All these fields map 1:1 to the Offer section on the left-hand sidebar of the Deal.
- Review all fields in the Offer section.
- Fill in any empty or incorrect fields.
✅ Once all required Offer fields are complete, save the Deal and the error will clear.
5. Error: “Time Limited Discount” error
Occurs if the Time Limited Discount includes non-whole numbers.
How to fix it:
- Change the Time Limited Discount field to a whole number (no decimals).
- Reset the Amount:
- Set
Amountto zero and save (as on Error 1). - Wait 1 minute.
- Enter the correct amount and save again.
- Set
✅ This ensures the system accepts the discount and triggers the S2O workflow correctly.
6. Error: “No Free or Trial Subscription” error

Occurs if the the manually created subscriptions for trials weren’t marked as a trial.
How to fix it:
- Mark all of the site’s subscriptions as trials in Backoffice
✅ This ensures the system accepts the already-existing sites and triggers the S2O workflow correctly.
⚡ General Tip
Whenever you see an error:
🔎 Always read the message carefully—it usually points directly to the missing or incorrect field.
✅ Fix the data, save the Deal, and allow workflows to re-trigger automatically by giving them 1 minute.
